General Entry Requirements

There are no mandatory academic qualifications required to enrol in the programme.

However, participants should possess:

Pathway 2 - Applied Risk (Certified Sanctions Risk Specialist)

  Possess approximately 1–3 years of relevant compliance, sanctions, AML, risk, or operational experience

Pathway 3 – Decision & Control (Certified Sanctions Decision Leader)

Entry Requirements No prior sanctions experience required
Participants should ideally: Have completed the Applied Risk Pathway
  OR
  Possess 3+ years of practical sanctions, AML, FCC, trade finance, or risk management experience
Participants should be comfortable with:
  • Risk-based decision-making
  • Escalation handling
  • Writing defensible rationales
  • Policy interpretation and operational governance

Pathway 4 - Executive Governance (Certified Sanctions Risk Executive)

Assessment & Certification Requirements

To achieve certification, participants must:

  • Complete all required modules within the pathway
  • Successfully complete pathway assessments
  • Achieve the minimum pass mark specified within the LMS
  • Complete all mandatory case studies and scenario-based exercises

Certificates are issued digitally upon successful completion.
